Ingeborg Nemeth Katolik, a German artist living in North Carolina, paints classic and romantic images from nature and life as well as landscapes and still-life
influenced by the Old Masters. Ingeborgs
studio is located in Rockfish, a small
community near Raeford. There she paints
scenes and still-lifes that evoke memories
from her extensive travels in Europe and
America. Currently she is working on a
series of limited edition flower prints.
She feels that:

"Our lives today seem so removed from nature. I wish to bring the spirit and beauty of nature back into our lifes and homes."

Ingebork Katolik graduated from the Academy of Art in Dusseldorf, Germany. While there she also studied restoration of paintings with Walker Maas. Her work has been exhibited in Cologne, Stuttgart, Goettingen, and Dueren as well as several museums throughout Germany. In the United States she is presented through Beeches Gallery, Carmen, California.
